This is a two day course for Physiotherapist that will cover current evidence for how the body structures and functions age and what are the optimal assessment and treatment  available to Physiotherapists. Focus will be on the 65+ age group.

Anatomy / Physiology of the Balance system review

Pathophysiology of key body structure ageing process linking to functional impacts.

Attendees will learn how to undertake an assessment for differential diagnosis of key balance systems to fully understand the influence of body structure age. 

The attendee will come away with key skills in safe and effective evaluation of ageing balance profiles most often seen by Physiotherapists and evidence based treatment strategies. 

Case and problem based learning approach will be used to optimise knowledge translation.

Course participants must also hold current professional liability insurance and provide a certified copy at the time of registration. Failure to provide proof of registration and insurance will exclude you from the Course.
